The Senior Manager, Real Estate Development will
be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of commercial real
estate assets in India and must be capable of identifying opportunities
available through development of new projects and acquisition of existing
properties. This position will lead a team of international professionals
in creating strategies to capitalize on favorable market conditions in India's
new and existing business centers. Coordination of the activities of due
diligence teams, project managers, management companies and third party
consultants will be required to build the portfolio.
The Senior Manager, Real Estate Development will
be required to have a thorough understanding of India commercial real estate
finance, operations and marketing.
The
Senior Manager, Real Estate Development will forge relationships with
brokers, contractors, landowners and developers to accomplish the goals of
the portfolio investors:
-Assemble a diverse portfolio of commercial properties ranging from hotels
to office buildings
-Identify advantageous financing arrangements to leverage capital
-Implement investment strategy for each asset with
a carefully timed exit strategy to generate a return on investment
-Generate fee based management revenue for the
Company as well as bonuses based upon superior performance
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
1. 5 + years experience in a business
development or sales and
marketing capacity.
2. Familiarity with India real estate laws and
experience as a commercial asset manager, real estate broker, servicer or originator is highly desirable.
We are looking at someone with
consulting & advisory experience in real estate industry more towards
the hospitality domain.
