Job Description
|
Job Responsibilities
- Develop or initiate unit security practices,
instructions, and guidelines based on corporate instructions and
company policies.
- Review proposed organization unit
implementation of DP asset protection standards, instructions and
guidelines.
- Ensure
appropriate security coverage in the operating unit’s operating plans
and strategic plans.
- Act as
an organizational unit security focal point for all locations on
matters of overall data security.
- Conduct investigation of DP asset
protection related security incidents as appropriate.
- Ensure
that security staff, users of DP services, and owners of DP assets are
provided effective education and direction with respect to DP asset
protection responsibilities and requirement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of
security systems used in the locations.
- Provide for assistance, as
appropriate, in investigations, and in education of users, owners, and
security staff.
- Monitor overall DP asset protection
compliance in the organizational unit.
- Monitoring internal control systems
to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security
clearances are maintained
- Maintains documentation
- Coordinate with project and ensure
project delivery
- Cost
saving for Business
