Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Mathematical, Statistical and Financial analysis of USD 42 billion residential loan servicing portfolio
  • Determination of factors affecting credit losses and prepayments for residential mortgage loans

 

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in Quantitative analytics/ modeling/ scoring,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
  • Required Skills :  • Hands on experience in Mathematical/ Statistical/ Financial modelling
  • Good knowledge of Statistical tools (SAS/SPSS/Minitab) & techniques
  • Good understanding of MS-Access and SQL (Oracle/Sybase/MS-SQL)
  • Good analytical and independent problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills   Preferred Skills,  Qualification & Experience : • Experience in quantitative modeling of loan portfolios
  • Knowledge of US Mortgage Industry OR Fixed Income Securities

Education

• Post Graduate Degree in a Quantitative/Finance discipline from a well-reputed Statistics/ Economics/ Management institute like ISI, IGIDR, DSE, IISc

• Graduate degree in Finance / Economics / Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics
